SUMMARY:Truro Cathedral Choir concert at St Tudy Church
DESCRIPTION:A concert will be held on Friday the 10th of November at St Tudy Church\, featuring Truro Cathedral Choir conducted by its Director of Music\, Christopher Gray. As the choir only commits to two concerts a year outside of the Cathedral\,  we are all fortunate to have the opportunity to attend this concert. \nThe choir which also undertakes an occasional European Tour has a formidable reputation for the quality and variety of its performances and this concert provides a once in a lifetime opportunity to see and hear a traditional cathedral choir of boys and men performing their liturgical repertoire. \nThe concert will start at 7:30pm and any donations at the end of the concert will be welcomed.

DESCRIPTION:On Saturday the 4th of November The Revd Professor Andrew Lewis will give an illustrated talk on Martin Luther in St Tudy Church\, 2:30pm-4:30pm. \nProfessor Lewis as Professor of Comparative Legal History at the University of London\, has been immersed in the topic for many years. He writes ‘We do not know whether Professor Martin Luther actually nailed his 95 theses\, (in effect an invitation to an academic seminar)\, to the door of Wittenburg church five hundred years ago in October 1517\, but the effect was to create a moment in history. We shall explore the religious\, cultural and social consequences of Luther’s action\, especially in the context of the Church of England.’ \n

DESCRIPTION:On Sunday 13th December at 2.30 pm St Tudy Church is hosting another concert by the St Breward Silver Band. They will be playing a selection of Festive Music and we will also be treated to songs performed by Jules Eley. There is no charge to attend this concert\, but donations will be very much appreciated which will be divided equally between the Band and St Tudy Church.
