SUMMARY:CMED Course - Live Streaming at Worship: Baptisms\, Weddings\, Funeral and Occasional Worship
DESCRIPTION:with members of the Penlee Cluster \nThe ability to live stream worship gives us great opportunities and challenges as we reach out beyond the doors of our church buildings. This day aims to be a very practical one as together we explore live streaming. \nAmong other questions we will explore “why live stream worship?” issues involved in live streaming” and “how to live stream simply”.  We will explore what it might mean to worship through across the Internet. There will be a chance to have a go\, reflect on the process and refine what we do. \nThis day should be of interest to all who lead worship\, have pastoral contact with people and those with an interest in the actual physical steaming. \nThis event will be lead by staff in the Penlee Cluster as part of their e-waves project initiative of doing church differently sponsored by the Bishop’s Den. Although the day will take place in Penzance part of the day will be able to be accessed remotely as participants try out live streaming. \n10am Coffee and Start\, 4pm Finish \nClick here to book a place.

SUMMARY:CMED Course - Active and Reflective Kids
DESCRIPTION:Walking the way in partnership with young people: faith development and  worship in Playzone\, play areas and  outdoor spaces.  \n with members of the Penlee Cluster \n Worshipping and exploring faith with young people is a privilege and challenge. This day will focus on using outdoor space and Playzone  as a means of exploring stories of faith and spirituality alongside youngsters. \nAs many of our schools develop new styles of immersive learning we consider what it might be to worship and develop spirituality though play and a sense of place. \nWe will also explore how we might use our church buildings differently so that youngsters can be physically active in them.  We will share our developing Playzone church story so far. What form might worship and story-telling take in such a setting? \nThis day does not set out a blueprint of how to worship with youngsters in a more active and physical way but will open up possibilities and questions of what you might explore in your own settings be it in church or school assemblies. \nThis interactive day might be of interest to all who lead worship or nurture the faith of young people either in churches\, schools or other settings. People attending this day will need to have DBS clearance as we will be working and reflecting alongside young people. \nThe day will be lead by staff in the Penlee cluster and some children from local schools.  It will take place in a number of venues around the Penzance area. People travelling to Penzance by train can be met at the railway station and lunch will be provided as part of the experience. \n10am Coffee and Start\, 4pm Finish \nClick here to book a place.

DESCRIPTION:with members of the Penlee Cluster \n This day will be based at three different sites in the Penlee Cluster in Penwith\, transport will be provided between the sites.  This day will be divided into three parts: \n\nSpaces in between: Creating a Quiet Garden;\nSpaces in between: ways of worship and nurture in the Playzone;\nE waves: video casts\, prayer resources and a daily thought for the day.\n\nCome and reflect on Mission shaped ministry and a few attempts at trying to do Church differently.  These are not blue prints but honest attempts…failures and challenges too.
