SUMMARY:Songs and Prayers from Taizé at Kenwyn Church
DESCRIPTION:Please join Kenwyn Church for Songs and Prayers from Taizé at 4.30pm on the second Sunday of each month. \nTaizé worship originated in the French Christian community of that name. It embodies short bible readings\, prayers and simple sung refrains separated by periods of silence that foster meditation. There is no preaching.  We will start with a run-through of any unfamiliar tunes so you should find it easy to join in with the singing but you are welcome just to come\, listen\, pray and enjoy the atmosphere. All are welcome.

DESCRIPTION:Kenwyn Church Flower Festival \nThursday 11th May to Sunday 14th May 2017 \n‘From Carn to Cove’ Kenwyn Church are holding a Flower Festival officially opening on Thursday the 11th of May at 10:30am. \nThursday 11th May – Flower Festival opening by Liz Fenwick\, supported by The Shortlanesend CP School Choir at 10:30am \nFriday 12th May – The day will consist of the Celtic Male Ensemble starting at 7:30pm\, tickets will be £8 including wine \nSaturday 13th May – A Lunchtime Recital by Sue Lancaster at 1:00pm \nSunday 14th May – Songs Of Praise led by Kenwyn Church Choir at 6:15pm \nAlso on Friday the 26th of May there is a presentation evening with the music and comedy of Johnny Cowling at 7:30pm.
