SUMMARY:CMED Course - Introduction to Cornwall for new ministers
DESCRIPTION:with Revd Andrew Yates \nThis annual full day course aims to help ministers to become more acquainted with the context in which we work. Principally intended for those new to ministry and for those in ministry who have recently moved into Cornwall.  We are guests of Cornwall Council and have presentations from members of the Localism Team on Demography and from members of the Social Care and Education teams about the challenges they face and the opportunities for partnership working with churches. DESCRIPTION:This absolutely fantastic study day with Michael Swift focuses on six centuries of Cornish stained glass from medieval to present day. You will focus on the wealth and variety of stained glass in Cornwall and learn how to ‘read’ and analyse the windows and by using these techniques. You will also be encouraged to interpret the social history of Cornish communities over some six centuries. Definitely not to be missed!!
