SUMMARY:Windows-Into...the First Christmas starts in November
DESCRIPTION:The new Windows-Into course – Windows into the First Christmas – will be run in the Cathedral on the six Mondays from November 10 to December 15. There will be three sessions each day to allow maximum flexibility for those who want to attend: 10-12 in the morning\, 2-4 in the afternoon and 7.30-9.30 in the evening.  Venue: the Pearson Room in the Cathedral Offices. Leader: Rev Canon Dr Stephen Dawes\, the Canon Theologian. Cost: £10. Christmas is more than Nativity Plays and Carol Services\, so what do the Birth Stories in Matthew and Luke really say? And what are we to make of John’s heavy theology about ‘In the beginning was the ‘Word’’? There’s coffee and biscuits too\, with mince pies in session 6.
