DESCRIPTION:Come and enjoy a picnic cream tea at beautiful Creed Church. \nTake a basket of tea and scones into the grounds and settle on one of the benches\, enjoy the view and have a leisurely tea listening to the birds. \nOpen every Wednesday and Sunday afternoon from 2.30pm to 5pm during the summer months of June\, July and August \nStarts June 3. \nIf it’s wet\, teas will be served in the church. \nA basket for two will cost £10\, with all proceeds going to church funds.

SUMMARY:The Emmaus Spiritual Direction Course
DESCRIPTION:Spiritual Direction for the South West – Applications now open for September 2026. \nThis two-year\, ecumenical\, part-time course is for those sensing a call to listening ministry and a desire to deepen their own spiritual journey. \nYear 1 offers a foundational understanding of spiritual direction with a focus on listening skills\, spiritual conversation and an introduction to Christian spirituality.\nParticipants are supported in an ongoing discernment of their call to accompany others in faith.\nYear 2 is for those who have discerned a call to the ministry of spiritual direction.\nParticipants develop advanced listening skills and good practice in supervision\, whilst further deepening their own spiritual journey and awareness of the major Christian traditions. \nThe Emmaus Course invites participants to enter a formational journey in the company of a community of fellow travellers; it is delivered in a blended format of in-person Saturdays in Plymouth\, and evening Zoom meetings with one residential weekend in each year (usually in Truro). \n  \nIf you are interested to find our more\, please contact a member of our Operations Team at Spiritus College: info@spirituscollege.ac.uk\nwho will put you in touch with our course leaders for an informal conversation.
